Is Save Your Sons University appropriate for children?
There is no adult language or adult content contained in our monthly courses. We do however address adult themes. If you are reading and applying our courses with your children, we recommend you take an active role. We recommend you read and listen to the courses together. Some of the concepts are mature (attracting the right spouse, for example), and we encourage all parents to be present to provide appropriate context as they see fit.
Our message boards are uncensored (the only content we prohibit is content that is pornographic in nature, for which we have a zero-tolerance policy). So there may be adult language and adult themes discussed therein.
Is this parenting advice?
The courses are not parenting advice. The courses explain what we’ve learned about developing a healthy masculine self-identity. And they are intended to teach other men what we’ve learned. At this time we don’t discuss the broader topic of parenting advice (screen time, punishment, curfews, etc). Our courses are singularly focused on helping boys and young men gain the tools they need to approach their own lives intentionally.
However, inside the community, our members give ample parenting advice that has worked for them and their families.
